Volume 1 of the First Piano Book includes four sets of sixteen pieces (64 pieces in total). This volume introduces students to the different note values from whole notes in Part I to eighth notes in Part IV. Volume 1 is recommended for beginner students with little to no experience reading music notation but who have spent a little time at the piano. All the music has been recorded and the download includes four PDFs totalling 69 pages with sheet music and introductory notes for all four parts, as well as MP3 files for all 64 pieces in this volume.
