Part I of Volume 3 of the First Piano Book contains 16 simple two part inventions. In these pieces both hands play a single line, the right hand usually taking the main melody while the left plays a simple accompaniment pattern. The music in this set is recommended for those who have studied Volume 2 or who are at the late beginner or early intermediate stage of piano playing. All the music has been recorded and the download includes a 17 page PDF of the sheet music with introductory notes as well as MP3 files for each of the 16 pieces in this set.
